About me

I'm a freelance graphic designer, photographer and illustrator. I teach graphics, illustration and photography at a Higher Technical Institute. I also teach in professional workshops, workshops and courses for adults. During my career I have curated numerous solo and group exhibitions, developed artistic projects and editorial projects. I specialize in visual arts, analogue and digital photography for giclée printing, digital and analogue mixed media illustration for fine art printing and editorial projects. I grew up in an artistic context, so the history of art, photography and graphics representedfor me not only a choice of studies but also a path of personal and professional growth. The interest in the visual arts led me to undertake studies in advertising graphics, perfecting the photographic technique, graphics and artistic knowledge. After completing my Crst degree in Cultural Heritage with a historical-artistic path, I deepened my studies in the teaching of Visual Arts and Photography, acquiring the knowledge that allowed me to teach graphics, illustration and photography. The interest in marketing strategies related to visual communication led me to obtain a second degree in economics. I further perfected my technical and conceptual skills by attending numerous workshops, comparing, studying and updating myself continuously.

My photographic artistic research investigates two realities, the first concerns social and anthropological issues by building both conceptual and documentary meanings through projects focused on the exploration of the human condition in everyday life, in the ordinary rural and urban environment. The second photographic reality is linked to the theme of dreams, the dreamlike beauty of nature and the particularity of the small moments of our daily lives. All the photos are made with digital photography, analog photography and infrared photography, with the aim of capturing the surreality of our everyday life without the use of photomontages, but only through recording on film or sensor with subsequent development of the negative.

The illustrations are often inspired by books, songs or films. The focus is on inner worlds and human experiences contextualized in an introverted and dreamy atmosphere. Each work is the result of a reflective journey linked to the need to escape from real life. I use analogue and digital techniques, I prefer mixed media with the addition of textures.
